Jean-Baptiste Gérard

Founder & President

Art and culture have been part of Jean-Baptiste Gérard since childhood. From a young age, he took drawing, painting and sculpture classes at the Beaux-Arts, studied piano at the conservatoire, and developed a deep interest in dance, particularly ballet, out of natural inclination. That early immersion quietly shaped the direction his life would take.

A career followed, built internationally, at the intersection of business and innovation. His travels across the world opened his eyes to the fragility of ecosystems, an awareness that never left him. Paris eventually became his anchor, less a destination than a point of departure.

He now leads mentoring programs at Sciences Po Paris and CentraleSupélec, working alongside young talents at the intersection of ambition and purpose.

In 2025, he founded the Gérard Foundation. Five areas of action: education, art and culture, the environment, health, and the fight against poverty. The rest follows naturally.

« Empowering lives, building futures — together. »

The Gérard Foundation is a non-profit organization founded on the belief that access to education, culture, and health is not a privilege — it is a universal right.
